Here are the 5 easiest ways to identify your Kindle model — without frustration, without tech overwhelm, and without guessing.
1. The Easiest Way: Check “Device Info” in Settings
If your Kindle turns on, this is your fastest path.
What to do:

Turn on your Kindle

Tap the three dots (⋯) in the top right

Tap the three dots again

Choose Device Info or Device Options
Right at the top, you’ll usually see something like:

Kindle Paperwhite (11th Generation)

Kindle (10th Generation)

Kindle Oasis (3rd Generation)
That’s it. No detective work required.
If you see it clearly listed? Breathe easy. You’re done.
2. Check Your Amazon Account (Perfect if It Won’t Turn On)
If your Kindle battery is completely drained or it refuses to power on, don’t panic.
Amazon keeps a record of your registered devices.
How to check:

Log in to Amazon

Go to Manage Your Content & Devices

Click the Devices tab

Select your Kindle
You’ll see the exact model listed there.
