Hi! We’re Mimi and Jim, the husband-and-wife team behind Sally’s Shack.

What started as a creative little corner has grown into a shop filled with things we genuinely love—books, cozy horror, nostalgic designs, handmade pieces, spooky stories, and products that make slowing down with a good book feel even better.

What We Make

Sally’s Shack is a cozy, slightly spooky, nostalgia-loving bookish shop created for readers who like their reading life with a little personality.

You’ll find Kindle and Kobo cases, interchangeable inserts, waterproof stickers, bookmarks, magnetic bookmarks, handmade mug rugs, reading accessories, bookish gifts, and seasonal collections inspired by the stories, movies, eras, and aesthetics we love.

We're especially fond of things that make digital reading feel a little more tactile.

Our clear Kindle and Kobo cases become a blank canvas for interchangeable inserts and stickers, so you can change your reading aesthetic whenever the mood—or your current book—changes.

And because we will never outgrow the joy of receiving something fun in the mail, we also created our Spooky Stories Mail Club.

Every month brings a completely new theme with an original spooky short story and a collection of coordinating bookmarks, stickers, a postcard, and an analog activity.

It's part happy mail, part storytelling, part nostalgia—and very much our kind of fun.

Meet Mimi

Mimi is the creative, book-obsessed heart behind many of the ideas you'll see around Sally’s Shack.

She loves atmospheric thrillers, spooky stories that aren't too scary, movies, vintage aesthetics, quiet hobbies, and finding ways to romanticize ordinary moments.

Give her a slightly creepy small town, an old library, a questionable motel, a coastal mystery, or a story where everyone clearly should have left town three chapters ago, and she's probably interested.

She's the one dreaming up collections, writing stories, creating designs, styling products, and thinking about all the tiny details that make something feel unmistakably Sally's Shack.

Her favorite part of the shop is creating products that feel like little pieces of a story—something you can add to your reading routine and make your own.

Meet Jim

Jim is the other half of Sally’s Shack—and an important part of everything that happens behind the scenes.

While Mimi is usually dreaming up the next collection or falling down a creative rabbit hole, Jim helps keep the actual shop moving.

Sally’s Shack is very much a team effort.

There are products to make, orders to prepare, packages to send, ideas to talk through, problems to solve, and approximately one million tiny things that happen between “I have an idea…” and a package arriving at your door.

Jim is part of making all of that happen.

Together, we're building Sally’s Shack slowly and intentionally—one collection, one story, and one package at a time.
